The process starts with an initial consultation with one of our dentists, who will assess your teeth and determine if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. If you are, they will take impressions of your teeth to create custom-made trays that fit your teeth precisely.
The treatment involves wearing the trays with the whitening gel for a specified period, usually overnight, over a period of 14 days. After the home treatment, you will have an in-chair whitening session that will further enhance your results. The in-chair treatment is performed under the supervision of our dentist and can take up to an hour to complete.
One of the most significant advantages of the Enlighten system is that it uses a combination of both carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide gels, which work together to achieve optimal whitening results. The use of both gels also helps reduce the risk of sensitivity and discomfort, which is a common side effect of teeth whitening treatments.
Enlighten tooth whitening is also safe and long-lasting, and the results can last for up to five years with proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups. We also offer a similar system called Boutique whitening which is a similar concept but just without the in-chair treatment.
