The results usually last between 3 – 4 months.
This involves an injection of hyaluronic acid which restores the structure of your facial skin – reducing the appearance of defects such as wrinkles.
An ultra-fine needle is used for maximum precision and minimal pain.
Dermal fillers are used to:
Hyaluronic acid can be applied to your lips to give a fuller and more defined appearance. We use Juvederm® dermal fillers performed with surgical precision by our highly trained doctors. This is a very popular and safe cosmetic procedure.
The results can be seen immediately and are not permanent, lasting up to a year. We use restylane, Juvederm, teoxane and vivacy fillers. We use needle and cannula technique for greater safety and fewer bruises. Ninety percent of patients will not suffer any bruising following treatment.
Botox will relax targeted muscles where the product is placed – often the forehead lines and crow’s feet, whereas dermal fillers will replace volume that has been lost due to the natural ageing process.
Botox treats dynamic lines, i.e. when you are moving your muscles. Dermal fillers treat static lines, i.e. when your face is relaxed and has volume loss.
They can be used very successfully in combination. For example, when you have a deep forehead furrow. Initially, you would have Botox to relax the movement in the chosen area and then, two weeks later (as Botox takes this long to reach its full effectiveness), you could have fillers to reinstate the volume and plump out any static line/s that remain.
